St. Mary's Childcare runs three Preschool sessions daily from 9.15 - 12.15. We have three fully equipped Preschool rooms. Children play games and make arts and crafts in a positive, friendly and caring atmosphere. All activities are well organized and supervised. All arts and crafts are age appropriate and of interest to the children. They are also introduced to formal learning such as alphabet and numbers as well as practical life skills and cultural awareness. During their time in Preschool your child will experience the fundamentals of writing, reading and basic Irish in preparation for school.This will be done in a fun and child friendly manner.
If you child is aged between 3yrs and 3mths and 4yrs and 6mths on the 1st of September then you may be eligible for a free Preschool year under the new government " free year programme". You can discuss the details with our Manager.
